Monte Sano

My friend, Andrew, just posted this picture to his facebook profile. We were seventeen, and it was summer. That was a good day.

Eyebrows and cut-off jeans appear to be the theme here...good times. I seem to remember blind-folding Angela on the way there for some reason?

Themes of Monte Sano =

Serious eyebrows - check

Ubiquitous cut-off jeans - check

That's hilarious.

Was this one of our delightful band picnics? I can hardly remember anything about them except for Eric taking charge of the fire pit.

Ok, so we just went to visit Rob, and Rob then sent me the link to your blog, and I don't really have blogs or facebook pages or any of that stuff....so out of sheer curiosity I checked it out to see how the younger, hipper population conducts themselves these days...and lo and behold, there's a picture of me wearing some seriously pleated shorts. It was my going-away picnic right before I left for college, which (sort of...not really) explains the blind-folding. That was a good day. And all of our parents were there....because that was the only kind of crazy party we knew how to have. My love to all of y'all!

Becky--He was always a total doll baby, and he just seems to get better and better. :)

AWS--Right at the moment that the photo was taken, you were probably thinking about fire.

Nuge--Yep, Erik (and AWS) taking charge of the firepit, Andrew and Daniel running around screaming random things, you telling good stories, and, well, everyone else wearing awesome shorts.

Angela--you probably ironed those shorts before we went out, didn't you? C'mon, you can tell us.

Hi, old friends! I just want to thank the gods for you... and for changing fashion trends.

Well, CLEARLY I borrowed these shorts from my Grandpa, maybe he ironed them.

Anybody remember where the hell Britt was? Hiding behind a tree waiting to jump out and scare us?

Lisa said...

Wait...where WAS Britt?

Yeah, I don't know where Britt was. And, even worse, I don't remember the name of the girl crouched beside Alan. Does that make me a bad person? I wonder how many photos I'm in, and people are like, "Who IS that?"
